Locust Street Festival

June 8th, 2014 from 11am to 8pm

Famous for its namesake “beer run,” this festival is situated in the heart of Riverwest. A mainstay in this north-Milwaukee neighborhood, Locust Street Fest, the first major street festival of the summer, boasts a loyal – and growing – attendance and displays the best of the city’s diverse population, straddling the span between Humboldt Avenue and Holton Street.

 

Summer Soulstice

June 21st, 2014 from 11am to 11pm

Held on the Upper East Side’s North Avenue, Summer Soulstice, aptly named for the time of year it’s held, celebrates the official beginning of the season. For many, it’s an opportunity to enjoy warm temperatures in an outdoor atmosphere for the first time. Summer Soulstice brings a lively ambiance with its many stages, outdoor bars and activities like dodgeball, street art and extreme biking displays. If there’s a perfect way to kick off the Milwaukee summer this is it.

 

Brady Street Festival

July 26th, 2014 from 11am to midnight

Brady Street Festival is the cream of the crop of Milwaukee street festivals. Talk to the people, here, and they’ll champion the great music, better food and accepting atmosphere. Typically regarded as one of the higher quality music festivals along with Summer Soulstice, Brady Street lives up to its reputation as a mid-summer mainstay and local favorite.

 

Bay View Bash

September 13th, 2014 from 11am to 10pm

Situated on Kinnickinnick Avenue between Potter and Clement streets in the heart of Milwaukee’s well-known southerly neighborhood, Bay View Bash possesses an undeniable “community” feel. Family friendly, dog friendly and environmentally conscious, this street festival truly espouses the surrounding neighborhood. A mix of great restaurants, local businesses and easily accessible bars ensures that Bay View Bash has something for everyone.
